Who We Are

Vietnam HBV TEAM Club is a member of the global TEAM HBV network, a multinational network of students participating in the JOINJADE program initiated by Stanford University with the goal of spreading information and eliminating hepatitis B and liver cancer globally. We are the youth branch of Stanford University’s Asian Liver Center, the first non-profit in the United States that addresses the high incidence and dangers of hepatitis B and liver cancer in Asians. Vietnam Team HBV works under the umbrella of the global JOINJADE campaign and in conjunction with the Team HBV High School in the United States, Australia, and China for collaboration and ideas exchange.

Our Mission

Our high school clubs work to increase awareness of the dangers of hepatitis B and liver cancer, the ideals of the JoinJade Campaign, and provide information to better the health of the student body and the local community. Vietnam Team HBV gathers high school students who are passionate about being future leaders, using sciences and technologies to create long-lasting impacts on the community. Our mission is to engage and empower students in spreading information and taking actions to eradicate hepatitis B and liver cancer.
